British Columbia

It is the size of France, Germany, and Holland combined and is located between the West Coast and the Rocky Mountains; its capital is the city of Victoria. Other major cities are Vancouver, Whistler, and Kelowna. In the south, it borders with the United States, in the north with the Yukon Territory and Northwest Territories. It is one of the most attractive provinces to settle in Canada; its natural beauty, among other reasons, makes British Columbia a desirable destination to work, study and live.

Fun facts In British Columbia: You will never say you are bored; there are snow-capped mountains, white sand beaches, forests, meadows, and even a small desert (The Okanagan Desert). The United Nations Human Development Index places Canada as one of the best countries to live in and Vancouver as one of the best cities in the world. 

The province has a diverse geography, including rocky coastlines, sandy beaches, forests, lakes, mountains, inland deserts and grassy plains.
