What is the United States H-1B visa?
The H-1B is a temporary (nonimmigrant) visa category that allows US employers to hire highly-skilled foreign professionals to work in "specialty occupations." To be eligible, you must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in STEM professions (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). This visa is generally three years and can be extended for six years.

The Canadian Immigration Minister, amid the measures announced during June 2023, made public that as of July 16, Canada offers an alternative for H-1B visa holders from the United States, consisting of an open work permit without needing a previous job offer in Canada.

What are the requirements to apply?
Having a passport valid for at least three years would be best.
Have a valid H-1B visa (specialty occupation visa), or form I-797/I797B Notice of Action as proof that the visa was approved.
Currently living in the United States.
Medical exams (for people with occupations in health, education, child care, the elderly, and agricultural workers who have visited certain countries).
Resume.
Previous employment references.
Diplomas of Ph.D., Máster, Bachelor, Degrees, etc.
Marriage certificates, birth certificates in cases of coming with your family.
Complete the immigration forms and pay the government's fees.
